This is Jess, isn't she beautiful! I'll admit, she's my friend so I'm of course a bit partial to her beauty. She's a kind soul with a great family, who has adopted me as their resident sister. I've known Jess a few years now, her big brother is my bestie, she's the auntie of my 3 boys, and her family has a special place in my heart.
The Mendez's picked Heritage Prairie Farm as their nuptials spot, and I couldn't have done better myself, this is actually one of my top 5 faveorite venues of all time. Although, for me its all about the personal connection and the customer service level... and lately there's been a disconnect of this in our industry, which can be really sad. I hope they stay in my top 5!
If you're getting married in the fall in the Midwest, the rustic farm vibe is what we do best I'd say. I love the way the farm sets up for a wedding, they have some cool space to get ready, as well as a separate grooms area for the morning of!

Leading up to the big day Jess and I did 2 different trials so we could compare color stories on her skin tone. It was fun and empowering for us both to be able to see her in the looks. Jess also went with our custom lip shade experience where she was able to make her own lipstick shade and formula! I absolutely love doing those appointments, its a fun time that we get to have together creating something as unique as my Brides for their special day.
Now today, Jess and Mario have a beautiful baby boy who we are loving on and enjoying his company. Family functions are fun and filled with baby giggles! Take a look at some more amazing photos from the day, I hope you enjoy Jess' love story as much as I do!
